TIPS FOR YOUR PROJECT

Driveway Construction

For a new gravel driveway, plan for 4-6 inches of crusher run as a base, topped with 2 inches of #57 stone for a clean finish. Compact each layer for best results.

Driveway Maintenance

Refresh your gravel driveway every 1-2 years with a thin layer of new material. This fills ruts and restores the crown for proper drainage.

Drainage Projects

Use #3 stone or larger for ditch lining and drainage channels. The larger stone stays in place during heavy rain and allows water to flow through.

Landscaping

Pea gravel works great for walkways and decorative beds. Use landscape fabric underneath to prevent weed growth and material loss.
